Teaching and learning
Evidence will need to be provided that the blended learning experience applied at SAM City University College is effective in achieving the learning outcomes and intended program content. At the same time, program development staff should be able to explain the rationale for choosing teaching methods and blended learning.
Student Assessment
With the use of technology to monitor student learning outcomes, evidence will have to be provided that there is an appropriate balance between assessment at the beginning of course instruction and when instruction is completed at the end of the semester, that the assessment methods used were sufficient to demonstrate that the intended learning outcomes and required standards were achieved, and that student progress is tracked and feedback is provided in a timely manner. Results must also be evaluated through learning analytics and whether academic standards are committed to ensure that the student enrolled in the program is the same student who completes assessment tasks, and the college’s control management will have to provide evidence that it has an effective mechanism and infrastructure to verify the identity of students.
